The Far West Championships will be at Heavenly at South Lake Tahoe on March 18 through March 20, 2005. Heavenly and the Far West Championships will continue to make positive changes for 2005. Heavenly has significantly improved the lifts on the California side of the mountain with high speed lifts.

Rule Changes
This year we had only a few rules changes, the big change was changing our team point system which gives points to every participant and gives more points deeper in each class, and the second big change was splitting the S1 class into two classes and adding a new class called S0.

The Far West Race Association is planning a great event for this weekend and we warmly welcome your participation in our Championships at Heavenly in 2005. We look forward to seeing you at Heavenly, so please contact one of our clubs in your area through our website at www.fwra.com.
